Mid Western Junior Competition

ENTRY: Is by nomination of the Junior Development Coaching Team as part of the Junior Development Performance pathway.

Competitions are held during:
‘Summer’ – School Term 1 2019,
‘Autumn’ – School Term 2 2019,
‘Winter’ – School Term 3 2019 (There is no play during school holidays)
'Spring' - School Term 4 2019
Next Competition: ‘Autumn’ Term 2 – should commence by Saturday 11 May 2019 and should conclude by Saturday 29 June.
Registration: a standard fee of $90.00 per player is required, but ‘early bird’ $80 if paid by Geoff Skippen at Berala Carramar, otherwise the standard fee will apply thereafter

Nominations: will be made by the Junior Development Coaching Team; for ‘New’ players up to 19 years of age.
Duration: 4 team draws – 6 rounds followed by semis & finals, 6 team draws – 5 rounds followed by Qualifying Semis, Semis & Finals and 8 team draws – 7 rounds followed by Semis & Finals
Venues: Please note that Croydon Tennis Centre teams will show as Berala Carramar Teams, with the home court being at Berala Carramar.

Format: 2 players per team (girls or boys). Each player plays 1 singles – best of 2 tiebreaker sets with pro.tiebreak decider & 1 doubles set. 3 ‘rubbers’ for each match. All sets are first to 6 games, with tie-breaker at 6 games all
Match Times: Start time for home teams can be either 8:00/10:00am or 10:00/12:00pm, on two courts, or 8:00/12noon, on one court
but you must be available for any session on any day, depending upon whether you are playing at home, or away.

Membership: fee of $25 for membership with Tennis NSW which also provides for injury insurance.
